To our day-to-day volunteers. THANK YOU! Thank You for just being YOU! Thank You for always being there, going out of your way, carrying the extra load, going the extra mile, and doing whatever is needed to make the Board of Director’s jobs easier. You ladies and gentlemen are not ordinary; you are EXTRAordinary. Thank you Alexandra McStay (Santa’s Village & Reindeer Games coordinator) Jeremy Stillman (TEXSAR ground logistics coordinator & Alpha Print Services our graphics, print services, and sign guru), Ashley Decker (Salt+Lime Creative website genius) and our Board of Director spouses John Johnston and Jerri Hall. Thank You both!!
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
To our week prior and day-of volunteers. THANK YOU!! Thank You for taking time away from your jobs, families, and regular activities to provide entertainment, ground support, and parade logistics for the festival. Without your sacrifice and help, an event of this magnitude wouldn’t be possible. Thank You TEXSAR for going way above and beyond to mobilize vehicles and volunteers to provide extra support when and where needed.
“Whoever is generous to those in need lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.” Proverbs 19:17
To the Board of Directors. THANK YOU! Thank You for your hard work, dedication, and most of all for the love you have for our community. Successfully planning and executing a community-wide event year after year is no easy feat and each of you do it with such grace. Thank You for the countless hours, the early mornings and late evenings, the time you take away from your jobs and families to attend Board of Director meetings, and your desire to work together to figure out how to make each year bigger and better. Thank you for the love you have for each other as well as the patience and understanding it takes to hear, see, and appreciate each other’s points of view. Thank You for the drive, persistence, tenacity, and teamwork it takes to keep pushing forward without giving up. Above all, Thank You for your commitment and your heart to serve others. Onward together to 2019!!
“And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ Acts 20:35
